From the land of business - Part II
As promised in my previous post, here is a snippet of my ongoing trip of San Francisco, California. After being around on the outskirts for long at San Mateo, I finally got the time and the chance to make it.
Now, let me come to the title... I often get the impression the human population of this world is beginning to test God's random algorithm. Although most of us have so many things unique in the form of our backgrounds, language etc., no matter what situation you land in, there should be a me-too sitting right next to you. Look around and you would agree. This stuck me when I went on my lonely trip to San Francisco city. Without any research, I board a local train that would take me to the city and find a smart sardar (SS) and I
We got into an unwritten, even unstated agreement to accompany each other on this roam-around. This was bit of a surprise to me and then came the bigger one, we met a localite youth who queried us if we are from India and said that he is soon relocating to India as his father is switching jobs. And guess where? Bangalore!
Amazing to know that cross migration has started so early. Goes to prove that corporates in India don't have too many compelling reasons to settle abroad. Later during the day I hear from my SS fellow that he is in the US to train people of his company working from the US!! Thats another turn of tides for you. Alright, time for me to leave! So, let me leave you with these pictures...
On the city - I was amazed by the options for public transport in San Francisco. They have different train networks which do not talk to each other; meaning, you can't buy tickets for one from another. Its like saying that you cannot buy tickets from delhi to mumbai from chennai because they are 'financially' different divisions of railways. I was even more amazed by this. Take a look at my first video upload here:
enjoy! See you then...
