Readers, sorry about the lull in this blog for long mainly due to tough domain issues. But, the good news is that I have some news!
I, along with a few colleagues spent my independence day with kids are Roshni home. Below are some pics from the day. Although I woke up only after the flag hoisting in Delhi and didn't wear a flag on my shirt during the day, I still felt that I had a meaningful independence day for the first time. Roshni home, is located near pallikaranai, Chennai in an area called 'vidudhalai nagar' - what an apt location for the day! This is near popular upcoming surburb call maxworth nagar, promoted by many property developers but the home was been there for 7 years. I had the opportunity to interact with the people running the show everyday and they informed that they relied mostly on corporate contributions to run their big 'family'.
We were really happy yo spend time with children of all sizes, conducted painting contest on the eve of Independence day and played with them for a while.
